This September, BEARE PARK enters an exciting new chapter of growth with the opening of our first flagship store in Sydney. We are seeking a dynamic, driven, and commercially-minded Retail Lead to shape and lead the BEARE PARK in-store experience.

In this newly created role, you will play a pivotal part in bringing the BEARE PARK brand to life within a physical space. With a client-first mindset and a strong focus on revenue growth, you will lead the daily operations of the store while setting the tone for service excellence, team culture, and customer engagement. 

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic oversight and on-the-floor presence - working in close partnership with our e-commerce, marketing, and product teams to inform business decisions and support ongoing brand growth and development. 

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Own the daily operations and commercial performance of the flagship store, ensuring operational excellence, seamless execution, and alignment with BEARE PARK’s elevated service standards and brand values.
  • Lead with visibility and intention on the shop floor, setting the tone through presence, professionalism, and high standards - fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Develop and empower a high-performing, brand-aligned team, providing clear direction, regular coaching, and ongoing development to strengthen both confidence and capability.
  • Deliver a refined, personalised client experience that reflects the luxury positioning of BEARE PARK, ensuring every interaction is considered, intuitive, and service-led.
  • Drive revenue through deep client engagement, offering tailored styling support and building lasting relationships through proactive communication and meaningful follow-up.
  • Lead the in-store execution and development of our client acquisition and retention strategy, using data and team insights to engage high-value clients and nurture long-term loyalty through bespoke service and experiences.
  • Use data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making across product mix, visual merchandising, team resourcing, and client engagement - consistently exceeding sales targets while upholding brand integrity.
  • Lead weekly retail trade reporting, offering clear analysis of key performance indicators, emerging trends, and actionable insights to inform broader business and retail strategies.
  • Ensure the in-store environment brings the BEARE PARK brand to life across all sensory and service touchpoints - including visual merchandising, music, scent, rituals, and client care.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute in-store activations, private appointments, and community events that drive client engagement, strengthen brand affinity, and elevate the overall retail experience.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in luxury or premium retail, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity, ideally within flagship or high-profile store environments.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving the performance of motivated, high-achieving teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen combined with a strategic, creative, and client-centric mindset - adept at balancing business objectives with exceptional customer experiences.
  • Deep passion for design, fashion, and styling, with a genuine commitment to delivering elevated, personalised client service.
  • Highly self-driven, adaptable, and energised by the opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment - building and shaping a flagship retail experience from the ground up.

This role reports directly to the Brand Manager, working closely with them to ensure the in-store experience reflects Beare Park’s vision and values. 

You will also closely collaborate with the broader team across marketing, e-commerce, operations, and product to ensure a seamless and aligned client experience

We're looking for passionate, service-driven individuals to join us as Casual Sales Associates and help deliver a retail experience that reflects our elevated, design-led identity.

As a Casual Sales Associate, you’ll play a key role in bringing BEARE PARK to life on the shop floor. You’ll support our day-to-day operations while ensuring every client interaction is thoughtful, personalised, and in line with our values. You’ll work closely with our Retail Lead and broader store team to build meaningful client relationships and support an exceptional in-store environment.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Welcome and engage clients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel welcome and supported from the moment they enter the store.
  • Provide styling advice and product knowledge tailored to each client's preferences and needs, embodying a service-first mindset.
  • Build and maintain genuine client relationships through attentive service, proactive communication, and thoughtful follow-up.
  • Support the execution of client initiatives, including private styling bookings, gifting, and VIP experiences.
  • Assist the Retail Lead in achieving daily and weekly sales targets by actively contributing to the sales process.
  • Support with opening and closing procedures, POS transactions and ship-from-store orders - handling client purchases with care and accuracy.
  • Stay informed about product availability, brand stories, and collection details to enhance client conversations and drive conversion.
  • Always maintain store standards, ensuring the floor, fitting rooms, and product displays are pristine, well-organised, and aligned with the BEARE PARK aesthetic.
  • Ensure all brand touchpoints, from packaging to self-presentation, reflect BEARE PARK’s elevated brand values.
  • Collaborate with the wider retail team to ensure a positive, supportive, and high-performing team culture.
  • Support with back-of-house tasks, including stockroom organisation, inventory management, and deliveries.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous premium or luxury retail experience or strong customer-facing experience in a service-led industry.
  • A genuine passion for fashion, design, and delivering thoughtful, high-touch client experiences.
  • A professional and proactive team player who is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently when needed.
  • Flexible availability (at least 2 days per week), including weekends, evenings, and key retail trading periods (holiday, events, launches).
